Edelweiss flies to Bari for the first time
First flight to Bari on Friday, 31 March 2023. Up to three flights per week from Zurich. Gate event with ceremonial ribbon cut.
Edelweiss celebrated its first flight to Bari in Italy this Friday. This event was celebrated with the traditional ribbon cut.
Together with the crew, Andreas Meier, Head of Corporate Communications at Edelweiss, and Rolf Hancock, Vice President Aviation Development at Zurich Airport, cut the ribbon. Andreas Meier said: "We are delighted to be able to expand our offering in Italy with Bari, a beautiful and fascinating holiday destination. Bari offers something for every taste. Fantastic beaches to linger on, historic buildings to marvel at or street art to discover."
Edelweiss flies from Zurich to Bari on Fridays and Saturdays - and on Wednesdays during the peak travel season.
