Experience the Züri Fäscht flight over Zurich as a 360-degree video

Thanks to Edelweiss and the PC-7 TEAM of the Swiss Air Force, this year’s Züri Fäscht visitors were treated to a very special highlight. On Saturday evening, 2nd July, hundreds of thousands of festival visitors looked to the sky to marvel at the aircraft as they flew over the city of Zurich. This formation flight can now be re-experienced as a 360-degree video.

A total of seven 360-degree cameras were installed to film last Saturday’s flight over Zurich performed by Edelweiss and the PC-7 TEAM.

The cameras were positioned on the Edelweiss Airbus A320, the PC-7 aircraft and the Zurich town squares of Bellevue and Bürkliplatz. The resulting footage has since been combined into one clip so as to offer viewers a unique virtual reality experience.
