Edelweiss flies to Evenes for the first time
- First flight to Evenes took place on Monday, 10 June 2024
- One flight per week from Zurich until the end of August
- Gate event with ceremonial ribbon cut
Edelweiss celebrated the first flight to Evenes in the Lofoten Islands in Norway this Monday. This event was celebrated with the traditional ribbon cut. Urs Limacher, Head of Sales, Services &Distribution at Edelweiss, and Chantal Weinmann, Manager Marketing Services at Zurich Airport,cut the ribbon together with the crew.
The Lofoten Islands are also known as ‘the most beautiful islands in the world’. The archipelago offers stunning views of mountains surrounded by the sea, white coral beaches and picturesque fjords.
