Edelweiss flies to Salalah in Oman for the first time
- The first flight took place on Tuesday, 25 February 2025
- Two flights a week until May and from September
- Gate event with a celebratory ribbon cut
Edelweiss celebrated the inaugural flight to Salalah in Oman with a ceremony today, Tuesday. The traditional ribbon-cutting took place at Zurich Airport, with Oliver Lenz, Senior Manager Network Planning & Development at Edelweiss, and Rolf Hancock, Vice President Aviation Development at Zurich Airport, cutting the ribbon together with the crew.
With Salalah, Edelweiss is already flying to its second holiday destination in Oman, in addition to Muscat. Salalah is the perfect destination for those seeking an unforgettable beach holiday. Edelweiss flies twice weekly from Zurich to Muscat and Salalah until May and from September onwards and operates a non-stop flight from there back to Zurich.
