Getting There
A chairlift runs from the Kaiseregg Cableways’ lower station in Schwarzsee up to Riggisalp, which is an ideal starting point for delightful walks in the beautiful Fribourg Alpine foothill region.
Experience
A beautiful high altitude hike is to be had from Riggisalp to the Brecca Gorge. The trail takes hikers through a protected primeval landscape that was shaped by glaciers tens of thousands of years ago.
Walk to the Edelweiss Bench
The viewing point with the Edelweiss bench is located thirty metres from the cableway summit station.
Best View
A 360-degree view of the Fribourg Alpine foothills and a spectacular view of Mount Kaiseregg can be enjoyed from the Edelweiss bench.

The best place for a bite to eat is the “Bärghuus Riggisalp” restaurant that features a large sun terrace and a playground for the little ones to explore.
