Edelweiss increases flight offer in spring 2025

  • Extended winter season to Lapland until shortly before Easter
  • Additional non-stop flights replace triangular connections to popular short-haul destinations
  • Deployment of the Airbus A340 for increased capacity on selected routes

Edelweiss is expanding its flight offer in spring 2025 with additional non-stop connections to popular short-haul destinations and an extended winter season to Lapland. By using the Airbus A340 on selected short-haul routes, guests will also benefit from even greater flexibility and higher capacities.

Extended winter season to Lapland

In the far north, Edelweiss is extending the winter season with additional flights in March and April. Winter sports and adventure lovers can enjoy the fascinating landscape of Lapland until shortly before Easter. Edelweiss will also be flying to Rovaniemi on March 31 and April 3 and 7. Kittilä will also be served on March 31 and April 7, and Edelweiss is offering additional flights to Ivalo on March 28 and April 4 and 11.

New non-stop flights to popular vacation destinations in Italy, Morocco and Greece

Sun worshippers will also benefit: from April, previous triangular connections will be replaced by direct flights in order to shorten travel times and increase comfort. Catania (Sicily) and Lamezia (Calabria) will be served non-stop on Mondays and Thursdays. Marrakesh and Agadir in Morocco will also be served non-stop on Wednesdays from April. There will be additional non-stop flights to Kos and Rhodes in Greece on Thursdays from April.

Increased capacity on selected routes

In order to meet the increasing demand, Edelweiss is deploying the Airbus A340 on selected short-haul routes in March and April. Gran Canaria will be served by the Airbus A340 on Thursdays from April 3 to May 1. There will also be additional flights with the Airbus A340 to Faro on March 20 and 27. Edelweiss is offering additional flights to Hurghada on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. Edelweiss will also be adding additional night flights to Larnaca in Cyprus on Thursdays in April and May. Edelweiss will also be flying to Sal (Cape Verde) on April 1, 2 and 8.

With these adjustments, Edelweiss is offering guests even more choice and flexibility to discover the most beautiful vacation destinations in Europe, Africa and the far north. The flights can now be booked on flyedelweiss.com and via all the usual sales channels.
