Edelweiss to Resume Flights to Cape Town
From 25 November, Edelweiss will again fly once a week directly from Zurich to Cape Town in South Africa. This means that five long-haul destinations are already available in the autumn and winter program.
Cape Town at the foot of Table Mountain and bordering the Atlantic Ocean is spectacularly situated. Surrounded by the picturesque Cape region and not far away from the famous Cape of Good Hope, Cape Town is the perfect starting point for a variety of activities and natural spectacles. From November 25 Edelweiss is flying again 1x weekly from Zurich directly to Cape Town.

Since October 19, there are no longer any entry restrictions for travelers from Switzerland to South Africa. There is also currently no quarantine obligation for return travelers from Cape Town. The connection can be booked immediately on flyedelweiss.com and through all the usual sales channels.
In addition, Edelweiss currently flies on the long-haul route from Zurich directly to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Mahé (Seychelles), Malé (Maldives) and Cancún (Mexico).
Any flight timetable changes that may become necessary due to new or reintroduced entry restrictions will be communicated promptly. Edelweiss will continue to guarantee free and flexible rebooking options, so that travel can be planned worry-free.
