Getting there

Bänkli on Flumserberg is located near the valley station of the BergJet aerial gondola on Tannenboden (1,400 m). Tannenboden can be reached by the SeeJet aerial gondola from Unterterzen station or by postbus and car from Flums. There are plenty of paid parking spaces in Unterterzen and on Tannenboden.

Bänkli offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Churfirsten mountain range, Walensee and beyond to Lake Zürich, both in winter and summer. The sunsets are especially amazing.

Hiking to Bänkli

Bänkli on Flumserberg can be reached from the valley station of the BergJet aerial gondola on Tannenboden (1,400 m) on an almost flat, gentle hiking trail, or prepared winter hiking trail, in about 10 minutes.

Most beautiful view

The majestic Churfirsten mountain range, the deep blue Walensee and in fine weather a panoramic view as far as Lake Zürich make a visit to Bänkli a true experience.

Our tip

In summer a visit to Bänkli is ideally combined with a ride on the popular 2-km FLOOMZER toboggan run. The Chrüz 4-seater chairlift takes visitors conveniently from Tannenboden right to the start of the toboggan run.

Mountain summer at Flumserberg

Whether you’re active pleasure seekers, sports enthusiasts, families seeking relaxation or a fun-loving groups: you can also meet up at Flumserberg in summer. There is a wide range of activities to do amidst this dreamlike mountain landscape. A dense network of hiking trails criss-cross through the holiday region. Gentle walks, challenging hikes, guided tours and adventure trails for the whole family await summer guests. Two-wheeled sports enthusiasts, from pleasure riders to serious cyclists, will also find the right trail for them at Flumserberg: The bike trails from BikerBerg Flumserberg are divided up into different levels of difficulty. The right bike is available to buy or rent from the BikerShop Flumserberg or INTERSPORT Network Flumserberg near the valley station for the BergJet 8-seater gondola.

The highlight of the mountain summer for all tobogganing and climbing fans is the two-kilometre FLOOMZER toboggan run and the CLiiMBER climbing tower. Families appreciate the high-altitude hiking trails, also accessible with a pram, and the various themed trails such as the Rohan Rothirsch adventure trail, the Alpine Flower Trail or the GeoGalerie.

Winter fun in the snow

Enjoyment is not a question of age at the Flumserberg ski resort. Unforgettable days skiing for the whole family are guaranteed with the many family-friendly attractions, such as the HäxäWäldli adventure slope, the Prodalp family snow park, the ski cross, the SnowPark Flumserberg, the magic carpets, children’s lifts and sledging slopes. The Ski School Flumserberg has the right course for every age group and skill level for quickly and successfully learning the skills for safe fun in the snow. Cross-country skiers will find 20 kilometres of trails on the Prodalp and the Alp Tannenboden. The three-kilometre sledge run from Prodalp to Tannenheim provides further action. For those who prefer to travel on foot, the BergJet 8-seater aerial gondola will take you up to an altitude of 2,020 metres, even without skis.
