Conditions of participation

This competition is only open to individuals of legal age capable of acting on their own behalf who live in Switzerland, Germany or Austria. Edelweiss Air AG employees and their family members as well as agencies commissioned by Edelweiss Air AG and their employees are excluded from participation. Underage individuals may take part in the promotion, but are excluded from the competition. Participation in the Edelweiss Air AG competition is free of charge and independent of any purchase of products or use of paid services. Each participant is only permitted to take part once and is required to submit the correct personal information. The competition organiser is entitled to exclude participants that use pseudonyms or false identities or who have registered multiple times from the competition. Furthermore, the competition organiser reserves the right to prohibit individuals from participating in the competition if it is suspected or determined that they have violated the terms of participation or for other good cause. The competition organiser is entitled to make changes to the competition structure as well as to suspend, cancel or prematurely end the competition if they can provide evidence of good cause.

Determining and informing the winners

Once the winners have been determined, they shall be informed in writing via e-mail address / contact information provided. Winners are required to respond within 30 days. Otherwise, their prize shall be forfeited.

Distribution of prizes

Prizes shall be distributed only to prize-winners. Prizes shall be in the form of merchandise. They may not be exchanged or redeemed for equivalent cash value. Flight vouchers cannot be passed on or sold to third parties. Flight vouchers are redeemable only on flights with departure from Zurich operated by Edelweiss. An extension of the flight voucher is not possible.

Legal recourse

No correspondence shall be entered into with regard to the contest. No legal recourse is possible. No grounds exist for an actionable claim for delivery payment of the prize in cash or exchange of the prize.

Participation in this competition is open exclusively to adults who are legally competent and reside in Switzerland, Germany, or Austria, and are employed in the Swiss travel industry. Employees of Edelweiss Air AG and their relatives, as well as agencies commissioned by Edelweiss Air AG and their employees, are excluded from participation. Participation in the Edelweiss Air AG competition is free of charge and not contingent on any purchase or use of paid services. Each person is allowed to participate only once and must provide accurate personal information. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants using pseudonyms, false identities, or multiple registrations. Furthermore, the organizer may exclude participants if abuse, violations of these terms and conditions, or other valid reasons are suspected or identified. The organizer reserves the right to modify the competition format at any time and, for valid reasons, to suspend, cancel, or terminate the competition early.

Flights can only be taken on the dates specified by us. Cash payouts are not possible.

Participants will be invited to one of the above-mentioned flights. If a participant wishes to return on a different date (not same-day return), Edelweiss will book them on a flight, subject to availability, no later than 31.05.2025. Participants will bear the costs for their stay (hotel accommodations, meals, etc.).

Compliance Declaration

Global regulatory developments in compliance are a key concern for Edelweiss. This also affects the handling of benefits, invitations, and discounts offered by Edelweiss to third parties (e.g., invitations to events, gifts, etc.). We place special emphasis on adhering to existing laws and regulations. To ensure full compliance, we kindly ask you to carefully review the following declarations:

  • Your participation in this competition does not violate any applicable laws or internal regulations.
  • If you are employed or in a similar service relationship, your internal company policies permit participation in this competition. Your employer and supervisor approve of your participation, and you have obtained any required permissions. This is especially relevant if you are a public official or an employee of a company majority-owned by the state.
  • This invitation is made solely as part of customary (business) hospitality, does not constitute an improper benefit, has a business-related context, and does not aim to influence business or administrative decisions (particularly concerning contracts or negotiations).
  • You are not currently involved in any contract negotiations, procurement, or purchasing processes with Edelweiss on behalf of your employer or a third party. If you are involved in such negotiations or processes (directly or as a decision-maker), your acceptance of the benefit or invitation is permitted.

By participating in this competition, you confirm your agreement with the above declarations. The invitation includes a flight ticket valued at approximately CHF 400 per person.

You also agree that Edelweiss may use and process your personal data in connection with the event in compliance with Swiss data protection laws and the EU GDPR. You acknowledge that your data may be stored for documentation purposes for up to two years from the event date.
