Jens Fehlinger new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Edelweiss

The Annual General Meeting of Edelweiss Air AG has appointed Jens Fehlinger as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Jens Fehlinger is Chief Executive Officer of the sister company Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). He will assume his new role with retroactive effect from 1 October 2024.

Fehlinger succeeds Dieter Vranckx, who has been appointed to the Executive Board of the Lufthansa Group with effect from 1 July 2024.

Heike Birlenbach and Karl Ulrich Garnadt will continue to serve on the Edelweiss Board of Directors.
