Edelweiss with five new holiday destinations in summer 2025
- Bristol (England), Calvi (Corsica), Tbilisi (Georgia), Terceira (Azores) and Zadar (Croatia) new in the Edelweiss route network
- All five destinations will be served from the 2025 summer timetable
- Kittilä (Finland) will now also be served in summer from 2025
Edelweiss, Switzerland's leading holiday airline, is expanding its short and medium-haul network in summer 2025. New destinations will be Bristol in England, Calvi in Corsica, Tbilisi in Georgia, Terceira in the Azores and Zadar in Croatia. Following the launch in winter 2024/2025, Edelweiss will also be adding the destination of Kittilä in Finland in summer.
Bristol: Street art meets maritime heritage
The vibrant metropolis of Bristol is located in England's south-west. The home of street artist Banksy fascinates with art and culture. Bristol is also the perfect starting point for adventures in Cornwall or for a detour to Bath, where the Regency splendour of the Netflix series "Bridgerton" comes to life. From June to September, Edelweiss will take over this destination from its sister airline SWISS and fly from Zurich to Bristol every Monday and Friday.
Calvi: Where sea and mountains meet
In addition to the existing destination of Figari, Edelweiss is now flying to a second destination in Corsica, Calvi. The harbour town of Calvi in the north-west of Corsica inspires with a unique blend of French savoir-vivre and Corsican authenticity and can be ideally combined with a stay in Figari. In the old town, winding alleyways tell the story of times gone by, while the sophisticated marina exudes a touch of glamour. Outdoor fans will also get their money's worth hiking in Calvi. There are flights to Calvi from Zurich every Sunday from July to September.
Terceira: outdoor adventures in a natural paradise
With Terceira, Edelweiss is adding another destination in the Azores to Ponta Delgada. The "third island" of the Azores is an absolute paradise for outdoor and nature fans. Sea blue and grass green are the dominant colours which, together with a blooming landscape and rich fauna, ensure pure relaxation. The north is also known as a good wine-growing region. Edelweiss flies from Zurich to Terceira every Wednesday from June to September.
Tbilisi: A feast for the senses
The Georgian capital Tbilisi is a melting pot of cultures: Soviet, European and oriental influences characterise the cityscape and create a unique flair. The shimmering blue-green Jumah Mosque, the gigantic Sameba Cathedral and the Bridge of Peace attract everyone's attention. From Tbilisi, traditional wine regions, the impressive mountain panorama of Stepanzminda and the salty sea air of Batumi beckon. Tbilisi is served by flights from Zurich on Tuesdays and Saturdays from April to October.
Zadar: Dalmatia's coastal pearl
Zadar, located on the north coast of Dalmatia, enchants visitors with its unique experiences. On the waterfront promenade, you can listen to the melodic sound of the sea organ while the evening sun bathes the sea in golden light. Zadar is also an excellent base for travelling around Croatia or island hopping. The beautiful islands of the Kvarner Bay such as Lošinj, Rab and Cres are easily accessible by ferry or bus. From June to August, Edelweiss flies from Zurich to Zadar on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Kittilä also in summer
Kittilä in Finland is now also served in summer. From June to September, Edelweiss will fly every Saturday from Zurich to the far north, where guests can experience the unique Lapland - including the famous midnight sun.
The flights can be booked immediately on flyedelweiss.com and via all the usual sales channels. The complete Edelweiss summer flight schedule 2025 will be communicated in the coming weeks.
