Edelweiss now flies to Amman and Aqaba in Jordan

Jordan is a country steeped in history, with breathtaking landscapes, a vibrant and modern capital, fantastic beaches and excellent cuisine. Edelweiss will be flying from Zurich to Amman and on to Aqaba every Thursday and Sunday from 2 February 2023. The two destinations can be easily combined and are ideal for a round trip in Jordan.

Amman: Ancient flair meets modernity

The capital Amman is located in a hilly area in the Jordan Valley in the northwest of the country. The fascinating mixture of tradition and modernity, the good restaurants, the street markets, the chic boutiques and art galleries and especially the excavation site Citadel of Amman are worth spending a few days in the city.

Aqaba: The Gateway to the Red Sea

The charming city of Aqaba is located in the south of the country, about 4 hours' drive from the capital Amman. On the dreamlike beaches of the 27-kilometre-long coastline, you will find beautiful hotel complexes for bathing and relaxing. Aqaba also has many attractive dive sites with wrecks and beautiful, intact reefs. The impressive sights of Jordan, such as the rock city of Petra or the Wadi Rum desert, can be explored from Aqaba on a one-day or multi-day excursion.
